Free street performances, live music, food trucks, and artisan vendors in downtown Lowell

Head to downtown Lowell for the Spring Busker Festival, a free outdoor celebration of street performance on Middle and Palmer Streets.

Organized by the City of Lowell's Office of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, the festival fills the neighborhood with musicians, dancers, aerialists, jugglers, magicians, and more performing at pop-up spots throughout the festival footprint.

This year's lineup includes the Mill City Circus aerialists, a fire show from Cirque de Light, salsa dancing, Celtic and jazz bands, a living statue, face painting, and a magician and juggler at The Junction.

Performance Highlights:

- Derby Park: Salsa in Lowell, Sonic Avionics (soul/funk), Caeltish (Celtic), ODB Project
- Middle Street: Jasper Crystal Wizard, Sarah Kilbride (tuba), Market Street Bazaar (jazz)
- Palmer Street: Middlesex Community College Guitarists, Justin Cohn
- The Junction: Mill City Circus aerialists (12:15 PM and 1:15 PM), Jason Tardy (juggler), Darren Yong (magician), Cirque de Light fire show (4:15 PM)
- Throughout the festival: CMAA Chyyam Group (Cambodian drums), A Silent Soapbox (living statue), Refuge Lowell face painting

Alongside the performances, a Busker Festival Market features local artisan vendors, and food trucks will be on-site throughout the afternoon.
