The Boston Seaport is the place to be this summer with the return of its open-air Seaport Summer Market. The market will offer a wide array of products from a mix of nearly 130 vendors – the majority of which are women and minority–owned and local.
This year, the market will also feature an expanded line up of seasonal dining options. Also in the neighborhood, Boston’s first retail incubator The Current will introduce a roster of exciting new brands as part of its 12th season.
Taking place over six consecutive summer weekends, the Seaport Summer Market will be an open-air shopping destination celebrating local entrepreneurship, craftsmanship and art, and will feature over 80 vendors each weekend from a rotating collection of nearly 130 vendors throughout the season.
Rounding out the experience will be an expanded outdoor food and beverage area, a pop-up from Boston Children’s Museum, and games for people of all ages to enjoy.
Guests will also be able to indulge in the market’s expanded line-up of dining options, as well as in great wines from 90+ Cellars and classic farm-fresh cider from Downeast Cider House, who will present a custom flavor exclusive to the Seaport Summer Market.
The designated outdoor dining area will include artisan grilled cheese from Cheese Louise; empanadas by The Nada Cart; North East of the Border’s authentic Mexican food; Gogi on the Block’s Korean fusion bowls; Onebitesweet featuring Turkish pastry and gourmet cookies; gourmet ice cream by Blanche’s; sweet treats by Lizzie’s Bakery; and savory and sweet crepes by The Frenchman’s Goods.
Further creating a space for the whole family, the market will feature an exciting outdoor extension of the Boston Children’s Museum called Dinos in Space, complete with lawn games.
There will also be a live rotating DJ spinning summer favorites, alongside family-friendly programming, including an instrument petting zoo from Fort Point Artists Community (FPAC) as well as creative and sensory activities for children provided by The Maker’s Club.
The Seaport Summer Market is free and will be open to the public from 11am to 7pm daily on May 13–14, May 20–21, May 27–28, June 3–4, June 10–11, and June 17–18 (rain date June 24–25).
