When school's out, the EcoTarium is the place to be. Each February, April and December, our education team cooks up creative ways to learn and have fun -- all designed especially for school-age kids and their families.

These theme-based weeks are filled with activities focused on a particular science or nature topic. Many activities are free with admission.

Monday, February 18: Solve It With STEM
Harness your powers of observation and creativity as you work to help solve real-world problems found in your backyard and across the globe!

Tuesday, February 19: Our Place in Space
Take off on a rocket-fueled investigation of wild weather, deep craters and icy orbs as you journey past Earth into the deepest reaches of our solar system!

Wednesday, February 20: Eco-Engineers
Connect the dots between engineering and nature as you explore what plants and animals have taught us about building structures and solving problems!

Thursday, February 21: Science for Spies
Go deep undercover while you practice the art of espionage using imagination, forensic science, technology, and engineering to unravel secrets of the EcoTarium!

Friday, February 22: Science for Wizards
Use science to feel like a wizard as you attend ‘classes’ at the EcoTarium: School of Science-craft and Magical Inquiry! Non-magic folk welcome. Wand and robes encouraged but not required.

And if you are looking ahead to April Vacation.....
