The Umbrella Community Arts Center and The Concord Film Project invite audiences to view a screening of The Snapper on May 12.

Directed by Stephen Frears, the film centers on Sharon, the oldest daughter in the Curley family, and the speculation that arises when she announces that she is pregnant, but refuses to divulge the father’s identity.

Although her own father is supportive, he is agitated by the talk that begins to swirl around his family.

Rated R.

Doors open at 6:30 PM and the film begins at 7:30 PM.

Tickets are $10 and include a bag of popcorn.

Tickets may be purchased at the door or online (additional fees apply to online ticket purchases).

The Umbrella is located at 40 Stow Street, Concord, Massachusetts.

Visit www.theumbrellaarts.org or call 978-371-0820 for tickets and information.
