UU Wellesley's LGBTQ Interest Group is excited to present “The Freedom to Marry,” a documentary that tells the spellbinding, inside story of the movement that resulted in the 2015 decision by the Supreme Court to make same-sex marriage the law of the land.

The victory was brilliantly orchestrated by gay rights activist Evan Wolfson and by Mary Bonauto, the Boston GLAD (GLBTQ Advocates and Defenders) attorney who was the main litigator of the battle.

Please join us for lunch at 11:30 am.

The movie, which is 90 minutes in length, will begin at 12 noon.

Bring friends - all are welcome!
