The experience begins with a grounded and informative lecture led by Ayurvedic practitioner Mona Bhatt, who will introduce you to the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and how to work with the elements of summer.
Learn how to cool excess heat (Pitta dosha) and create harmony through food, lifestyle, and simple daily practices that support the body, mind, and spirit during the warmer months.
Following the lecture, Kerry Ann, owner and lead teacher of Shine On Yoga and Wellness, will guide you through a calming yoga sequence designed specifically to reduce summer heat.
You’ll explore postures, breath work, mudras, and mantra that encourage cooling, stillness, and emotional clarity.
Throughout the class, Colleen O’Keefe will offer intuitive hands-on assists and gentle energy work, helping you deepen your connection to the practice and feel fully supported.
To enhance the cooling effects, specific aromatherapy will be used to refresh the senses and restore inner ease.
This workshop is perfect for all levels and is especially supportive for anyone feeling overheated, overstimulated, or out of sync with the fire of summer.
We will open up for Q & A at the end of the lecture and have some cooling treats to enjoy together.
Come cool down, reset, and leave with tools to stay grounded all season long!
