Final 2017 Riverside BBQ Series Offers Backyard BBQ

The third and final session of the 2017 Riverside BBQ Series will feature an impressive lineup that brings together chefs from two restaurants, six New England-based craft brewers, and two live bands, including a special acoustic set by Boston’s own Bad Rabbits.
The all-inclusive event takes place outside, rain or shine, along the Charles River at the scenic Harry Parker Boathouse in Brighton on Sunday, October 8 from 4-8 pm.
Featured chefs from The Abbey restaurant in Cambridge & Brookline and CK Pearl in Essex, MA will serve up their own variations on traditional BBQ dishes.
Featured breweries & wine companies include Harpoon, Narragansett, Notch, Down the Road, Farmer Willie’s Craft Ginger Beer, Lord Hobo Brewing Co.
and Lila Wines.
Making their Riverside BBQ debut and playing a rare acoustic set, Bad Rabbits will join soul/funk troupe Gold Blood & Associates to entertain the crowd.
Resident series DJ Ryan Brown, will play in between sets and also set up a pop-up vinyl shop, selling some of his most prized records from his diverse collection.
Tickets are $45 in advance and $50 day of.
Ticketed guests will enjoy a tasty plate of backyard BBQ staples and sides from each chef, plus wine and samples of flagship beers and seasonal specialties from each brewer.

Now in its sixth season, the Riverside BBQ Series matches New England’s most creative chefs with local craft brewers and awesome bands all in a beautiful setting along the Charles River at the Harry Parker Boathouse.
It’s a pop-up kitchen, intimate concert, and mini-beer festival all rolled into one all-inclusive experience.
Since 2012, there have been 16 sessions of the Riverside BBQ, featuring more than a dozen chefs (including two James Beard Award Winners).
