Fresh & Local: FREE Demo & Tasting Presented by The Trustees

The bounty of New England is rolling in!

Now, what to do with it?

Join us in The KITCHEN as our chefs demonstrate how to prepare seasonal fare with the produce and products continuously rolling out at Boston Public Market vendors.

Our chef will demo several recipes and provide samples of each.

This event is FREE and open to everyone!

About Stillman's Farm
We are a strong farm family with an even stronger commitment to our land and everything it produces.

It is our commitment to the land and all it offers that inspires us to grow the glorious bounty we share with our customers.

We take great pride in providing the freshest, resplendent array of fruits and vegetables, as well as seedlings, plants, and sustainably grown meats.

The Lunenburg Farm, at 1410 Lancaster Avenue, is open seasonally with a fabulous selection of plants from April to July and a pop-up farmer’s market Thursdays and Sundays June through October.

The New Braintree Farm, at 1205 Barre Rd, is simply beautiful and a joy to drive by or walk about.

We welcome a visit to the New Braintree greenhouses where you can find us by chance most any day in the Spring.

The farm is also available to CSA members anytime – just try to give us the heads up!

About Chef Cleo
Cleo was born and raised in Washington, DC.

She attended McGill University in Montreal and has a BA in Cultural Anthropology.

After graduating, she moved back to DC and began working at local restaurants, such as Againn, a British Isles-inspired gastro-pub and Komi, a high-end Mediterranean restaurant.

She has spent 2 summers as the Head Chef for the Hog Island National Audubon Society summer camp in Maine, working with local farms to bring fresh food to the Island and to happy campers.

Cleo is thrilled to have the opportunity to cook and teach at Boston Public Market, with the whole Market to source from and the whole of Boston to serve.

At first glance, it might seem a strange road from cultural anthropology to cooking, but food and cooking are integral to the expression and transference of culture.

As they say: culture begins at the table.

By concentrating on serving local, sustainable foods, Cleo hopes to elevate the experience of the diner and to make a positive impact on the local food community.
