These classes are held in collaboration with vendors in the Boston Public Market and are taught by market vendors, local food entrepreneurs, and KITCHEN chefs who tell first-hand stories about where the ingredients are sourced and how they are grown/made.
Parents: Please plan to stay in The KITCHEN during the class.

Chickens & Eggs with Chestnut Farms Tuesday, February 20 from 11:30 am-12:30 pm | Learn what it means to raise pastured chickens and why they lay the tastiest eggs.
Then join us for some science “egg-periments.” Can you make an egg float or tell a raw egg from a hard-boiled one?
We’ll conclude by making egg-based treats with just a few simple ingredients.
This is a FREE event.
All are welcome.
Local Sharks: Dogfish & Skate with Red's Best Tuesday, February 20 from 1:00-2:00 pm: Family friendly, hands-on info session to learn more about two local, edible abundant shark species in New England.
Attendees will learn how to make dogfish tacos and skate sandwiches.
Free samples of dogfish tacos available.
Whole fish available to touch, hold and photograph.
Secret Veggie Desserts with Siena Farms Tuesday, February 20 from 3:00-4:00 pm | Secret Veggie Desserts with Siena Farms: The wonderful cooks at Siena Farms will teach attendees how to sneak veggies into delicious desserts.
During this class, Siena Farms will demo how to make Parsnip Brownies using hand-pulled carrots from their fields.
