A Maine-based chef and writer, Kathy has authored 14 books and was recently named the 2016 winner of the IACP Best Culinary Audio Series Award for her work as the resident chef on NPR’s acclaimed radio show “Here and Now”.
A James Beard Award finalist for Best Webcast in 2005, she walked away a winner in 2015 with the James Beard Journalism Award for the home cooking category.
Her latest book Soup Swap features 60 soup, stew and chowder recipes, menu ideas and serving suggestions.
Kathy also writes for many newspapers and magazines, including Newsweek, The Washington Post, Eating Well, Modern Farmer and Bon Appétit.
