The creators of deep dish pizza, Pizzeria Uno (UNO) will celebrate National Deep Dish Pizza Day by hosting a in-store experiential cooking class where attendees will go behind the scenes and get creative as they make their own deep dish pizza masterpiece using the brand’s iconic recipe of more than 80 years.Guests will get a sneak peek into how UNO Pizzeria & Grill’s signature pizza dough is made fresh daily, and then try their hand at the recipe before learning the proper deep dish pizza build technique (hint: the sauce doesn’t come first!).
The class includes pizza, choice of house, caesar or berry and goat cheese salad (all while learning how to make Founder Ike Sewell’s secret dressing!) and a Pepsi beverage (with other beverages also available), all for $40 per person.
Those who are ages 21+ will also be able to enjoy a complimentary draft beer or glass of wine as they indulge in their pizza creations.
