Learn basic CPR, safety skills and how to recognize emergency signs and symptoms at an early parenting workshop being held at the Leventhal-Sidman Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton on Wednesday, May 2 from 7-9pm.

In this workshop, participants will learn to recognize respiratory distressed signals for children ages 1-5 years.

Choking, cardiac arrest, injury prevention strategies, safe sleep, allergies (EpiPen), how to handle stressful events and more will also be covered.

This is an American Heart Association certification course and is appropriate for any caregiver.

Optional $6 fee for certificate.

For parents of children ages 0-5 years.

Cost is $40/individual or $70/couple.
