If you are blind or have low vision, assistive technology can have the power to change your life with solutions that make activities of daily living easier—getting or keeping you independent.

As the market continues to innovate and open doors for people with vision loss, it’s become more important than ever to understand your specific needs and find the right devices to meet them.

The annual Technology Fair brings together dozens of vendors, exhibitors, and creators—all under one roof—to provide you with an up-close look at a variety of assistive technology devices and allow you to learn about services available for those with vision loss.

New this year is the Empathy Lab where you can learn about adaptive sports, computer and switch controls, voice input and more.

The Technology Fair will also feature several informational workshops on topics such as “New Technology Trends in Low Vision,” “Increasing Home Independence with Alexa,” and “Voice Control: A Promising New iPhone Accessibility Feature,” among others.

The event will run from 9:00 A.M.

to 3:30 P.M on Tuesday, November 26, 2019.

It is free and open to the public.

Registration is highly encouraged.
