Each class combines singing, partner poses, wild adventures through jungles and zoos, and even a little savanna, quiet time, where we practice deep breathing in order to settle our bodies down.
Come join us as we fly like a butterfly, hang like a bat and hoot like an owl!
Presenter Bio
Joanne Lloyd currently works as a psychotherapist in Brookline and as an independent therapeutic kids’ yoga teacher at Boston Youth Sanctuary and with children recovering from severe burns with Shriners Hospital for Children.
She has been practicing yoga with children and their families for the past 10 years at Boston Children’s Museum, health centers, outdoor festivals, and in local family and preschool centers in the greater Boston area.
She has spoken at national conferences and provided professional development to social service organizations about the benefits of therapeutic yoga in clinical settings.
