Tree Lighting 5-7PM
After you get your pic with Santa, head outside where we will unveil our dazzling holiday windows and light up the sky with our Christmas tree. At 5PM there will be special performances by the Tufts University Beezelbubs, Urban Nutcracker, and singer-songwriter, Natasha Bedingfield. Afterwards, head inside to meet** Natasha Bedingfield and enjoy more holiday cheer.

• 5pm – The Tufts University Beezelbubs will open the show with an acapella mix of holiday classics.

• 5:15 pm - The Urban Nutcracker will perform select acts from their version of The Nutcracker.

• 5:30pm – Our headliner and special guest, Natasha Bedingfield will perform holiday hits as Santa comes on stage to light the Christmas tree. **Due to unforeseen circumstances, Natasha Bedingfield is unfortunately no longer able to perform at the event. We deeply regret any inconvenience this has caused fans. We’re excited to share award-winning artist and actress, Ashanti will join us in celebrating the holiday season at Friday’s event.

• 6-7pm- The first 100 customers* to make a qualifying purchase will get a chance to meet the performers as well as get a picture with them.

Macy’s Downtown Boston and Santa will unveil its holiday windows on Friday, November 29th at the annual Christmas tree lighting. The three Believe in the Wonder windows located on Summer Street will be centered on the joy of sharing holiday season festivities with those we love.

Generations of visitors will find variations of their own holiday traditions mirrored in the windows; each featuring a cast of enchanting characters sharing the spirit of the season from the wintery forest to the shores of New England. The first window depicts a cozy Christmas theme with Santa and his elves baking cookies and enjoying the winter wonderland with nearby animal friends.

In the second window, Mrs. Claus and her snow pals celebrate the season with a fun pin ball machine featuring historic Boston landmarks. The final holiday window brings you to the scenic waterfront of the Massachusetts Bay. Sailboats decorated in holiday hues sail towards the lighthouse to officially kick off the holiday season.

Event subject to change or cancellation. While supplies last. **While time permits. First come, first served. Limited to the first 100 guests in line.*

5-starMacy's Tree Lighting
Okay, a friend and her daughter suggested we try this event. None of us had ever ventrued to downtown crossing the day AFTER THANKSGIIVInG thinking that this day might be pure crazieness. However, this was one of the best holiday experiences. We brought our nine year old daughterwho were star struck and awe struck. Celebrities, magical Christmas tree, confetti flying through the night ... really fabulous and free. Hats off to Macy's.
