The North Shore Philharmonic Orchestra presents its 3rd Annual Children's Concert on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at the First Baptist Church in Beverly, led by conductor Marshunda Smith.The event highlights the premiere of local composer Charles Turner's 'The Ballad of Dick Whittington,' a musical adaptation of the classic English folktale.
The story will be narrated by local actor Matt Garlin.
Pre-concert activities begin at 2pm with an instrument petting zoo where the kids will be able to try out all the different musical instruments, musical crafts, a raffle, free snacks and student performers.
The orchestra concert will begin at 3pm.
