Visit Roger Williams Park Zoo to learn how climate change is impacting our local community, polar bear populations a world away, and what actions you can take to reduce your carbon footprint.

Guests will get an event passport at Zoo admissions to be stamped at several education stations in Our House at the Big Backyard.

Here, volunteers, interactive biofacts, and games will show how our actions can affect wildlife worldwide.

At the end of the day, guests can turn in their completed passports for a chance to win several prizes!

The event runs from 10am – 3pm.

A portion of ticket sales for the day will be allocated to the “Groundwork’s Providence” program, a local initiative to restore 40,000 trees in the Providence community, including Roger Williams Park.

This event is free with Zoo admission.
