Join us at our second annual Fairy Gnome Discovery Walk at Pettengill Farm.
The gems of the event are the 100+ Fairy and Gnome Homes peppered throughout a 1 mile wooded path that leads to the marsh and back.
Homes are created by very talented professionals, families, school children, and local businesses.
The event will have Fairy Tales read in the woods, live music, performances, Newburyport's Theater in the Open, Newburyport Macaroni Kid & Greater Newburyport Mother's & Families Club offering FREE children’s crafts, and Flatbread Pizza will have lunch for purchase.
Tracy Kane, author and illustrator of the award-winning Fairy Houses Series® of books and videos, will be reading her books and offering book signing (you may bring your own or purchase at event).
Homes Wanted!
You are cordially invited to participate in our Fairy Gnome Discovery Walk on Saturday, May 21, 2016 located on Pettengill Farm’s enchanted grounds.
We are excited about this event and hope that you will join and support us by creating your very own fairy or gnome home to display at our walk.
This community event is a wonderful opportunity for your group or business to get creative and show just how magical you are!
There is NO fee for home entry!
Proceeds are to benefit the 535 children at SES.
Please bring your completed Fairy or Gnome to Pettengill Farm on Friday, May 20th.
We are looking forward to seeing you!
Small signs will be provided for you to display a name of your fairy house or you may create your own, if you wish.
Signage any larger than 8' x 5' will not be allowed.
Houses may be picked up at 3 pm the day of the Discovery Walk.
Fairy Gnome Discovery walk will not be held responsible for any house left after tour.
We ask that you do not remove your house before the designated time.
