Join us at Mass Audubon's Trailside Museum for an evening with biologist Dr. Jay Tischendorf to explore the life and history of these mysterious birds of the western plains, the largest hawk in North America.

Explore the life and history of nesting Ferruginous Hawks in central Montana with wildlife biologist and veterinarian Dr. Jay Tischendorf.

Native only to North America, these hawks are large, beautiful and mysterious, wandering and nesting across the Great Plains and the West.

The Ferruginous Hawk is a candidate for listing as a threatened species, and their future is in jeopardy from a number of threats.

Dr. Tischendorf will discuss the lives of these hawks and current and past research initiatives.

Registration for this program is not required.

Donations to the Trailside Museum will be gratefully accepted.
