What Wild Edibles are out There?

Led by Naturalist Stephen DeFlorio, a 30 year veteran of outdoor education who has spent the last 13 years as a Teacher/Naturalist at a Montessori school.

Come explore the world of Ethnobotany (how cultures use plants for food, medicine, shelter, clothing, transportation, etc.).

With over 180 wild edibles in New England there are a lot of plants to learn about, many of which are invasive, so-called weeds and are some of the most densely packed nutritional powerhouses for food and medicine.

The class will focus on edibles but also cover awesome medicinals such as lip balms, salves, tinctures, poultices, etc. Participants will make one special medicine to take home.

There will be resources and other materials on hand.

Limited to 20 attendees.

Each workshop has limited space so sign up soon if you want to attend.

Tickets are required!

Minimum age is 16.

Workshops happen rain or shine.
