For young people ages 11-14
LOCATION: Farm Pond, Framingham
Join us at Farm Pond in Framingham to learn about how pollinators and wildflowers keep you and the city healthy. We’ll take you to see the new pollinator garden on Dudley Road, and then return to Farm Pond Park to decorate a flower pot and plant some wildflower seeds.
What to bring: Just yourself! We’ll provide bug spray, craft materials, pots, soil, seeds, and necessary tools. Dress appropriately for the weather.
Photo contest opportunity! We want to keep up with you and your flower friend! Send us weekly updates on your seedling’s growth by emailing us a picture each week and tell us how tall your plant has grown (in centimeters).
