Instructor: Marissa Gallant
Geared for preschoolers, this program practices classroom readiness skills such as taking turns, raising hands, sharing, and expressing ideas.
Each week explores a different seasonally appropriate theme through stories, songs, dramatic play, and guided outdoor exploration.
Extend the learning at home with a small packet of take home activities ranging from science experiments to simple crafts.
Weekly Topics:
• November 12: A Log’s Life
• November 19: Migration
• December 3: Have to Have a Habitat
• December 10: Hibernation
• December 17: Welcome Winter

PLEASE NOTE THIS CLASS IS FOR CHILDREN WITH THEIR ADULT COMPANIONS.
AT THIS TIME, WE ARE ABLE TO ACCOMODATE ONE ADULT PER CHILD REGISTRANT.
This class is held entirely outdoors through November.
December classes will be held indoors and outdoors.
Circle time and story time will be indoors.
The last half of the class will be spent in the gardens and on the trails.
Participants should dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
December classes will not exceed a group size of 15 including children and adults.
