Come enjoy the fall before it's gone! Join us for our Fall Fest! All ages are welcomed!

There will be lots of great activities including hoverball archery, arts and crafts, furs and skulls, and a fall themed scavenger hunt. The majority of the activities will be outside, so please dress warm!

Our Friends Group will be sharing refuge history, providing tours in the Visitor Center's Exhibit Hall, and setting up their nature store pop-up!

Come explore the refuge Visitor Center, try your hand at our all ages hover ball archery set up, examine skulls and furs, challenge yourself with the scavenger hunt, support the Refuge Friends Group and visit YOUR National Wildlife Refuge!

Assabet River NWR encompasses 3.5 sq. miles in the towns of Hudson, Maynard, Stow and Sudbury. The Refuge is open 365 days/year, sunrise to sunset, no admission fee required.
