Join North Shore Nature Program for a fun-filled day of winter activities!

Take a guided hike through the trails of Camp Denison and learn about animal tracks and winter adaptations.

Try your hand at building a shelter out of branches and leaves. Or learn how to start a fire without matches!

Outdoor activities:
Sledding and ice skating (snow and ice permitting) – please BYO sleds/skates
Shelter building “competition”
Naturalist-guided tracking hikes
Ice fishing demonstrations on Baldpate Pond (ice permitting)
Primitive fire building tutorials
Scavenger hunt
Crafts
S’mores by the fire

If you get cold, head inside to warm up by the fire, make a craft, and enjoy some complimentary hot chocolate! This is a FREE event and will provide fun and entertainment for the entire family.
