The Seacoast Science Center will celebrate World Ocean Day (WOD) on Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 10am-2pm.

World Ocean Day is a global celebration of the one shared ocean that connects us all.

Our World Ocean Day celebration supports our mission to inspire the conservation of our Blue Planet.

It is a great opportunity for families and friends to come together, learn about the important role the ocean plays in our everyday lives, and how to take action to protect our ocean!

The fun kicks off at 10am!

Explore SSC’s exhibits, get hands-on at our indoor touch tanks, and learn about the fascinating creatures that live just off our coast.

Plus learn more at activity stations led by SSC and our partners.

This year we are celebrating 33 years of providing exceptional coastal and ocean education!

Along with SSC’s naturalists, event participants can meet local scientists, divers, artists, and conservationists who are passionate about protecting our one world ocean.

Mark your calendars and join us for hands-on games, educational activities, naturalist-led tide pooling sessions, and more!
