Join us for a beginner bird walk!Now that the fields and woods are blooming, birds are busy starting to raise their families.
The open fields of the farm make a great place to observe birds as they build nests, hunt for insects, and lay their eggs.
Bring your binoculars (we will also have some to borrow), and let’s see what birds we can find!
After the hike, we will closely examine some bird nests and feathers and participate in a bird-related fun activity.
Led by Trustees Ranger Stacie, this family-friendly program is appropriate for ages 5 and up. Please note, though we love dogs, they are not allowed at Powisset Farm.
