FREE EVENT on Georges Island!Join us at 11am on Saturday, June 29 on Long Wharf North in Boston.
We'll disburse tickets based on our will-call list, and take the next ferry to Georges Island!
Once on the island, you can find 3 Trolls at a tent on the Parade Grounds, and we'll get you started on the puzzle quest!
Explore the rest of the adventures awaiting you on the island, and then take whichever ferry you prefer back to the mainland that day (last ferry departs for Boston at 5pm- don't be late!).
Once on the island, you can:
-- Solve the puzzles in our uniquely created Fort Warren Treasures Quest, a one-of-a-kind game made by 3 Trolls Games and Puzzles.
-- Explore historic Civil War era Fort Warren.
-- Enjoy free tours led by park rangers around the island.
-- Play free family lawn games provided by the park.
-- Listen to free concerts by Berklee in the City (every Saturday on Georges Island).
-- Participate in storytelling times with local legends and history.
-- Bring your own picnic lunch, or enjoy lunch concessions available for sale.
A few things to be aware of:
-- No bikes or pets on the ferry or island.
-- The fort itself contains opt-in dark and potentially hazardous passages; attendance and participation is at your own risk, and children need to be supervised closely.
-- Georges Island is a carry-in, carry-out park; all trash must be bagged/contained and removed with you when you leave, there are no trash cans available on the island.
-- There is no swimming at Georges Island.
-- Due to Coast Guard rules regarding the ferry passage, EVERY attendee- including infants being carried- requires their own ticket; please select the appropriate number of tickets for your group.
