The camp features several hands on activities that include fire-building, outdoor cooking, archery, S.T.E.M programs, pioneering, environmental studies, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, arts and crafts, and creative arts such as animation, theatre, music and even ax throwing!
The Camp is now open to the public and owned and operated by the Boy Scouts Spirit of Adventure Council and follows all Covid-19 Protocols.
The pandemic is still affecting day to day life for families and as a result, NE Base Camp is drawing increased interest as an educational alternative as they offer a forest school on site which is hugely important especially when kids cannot be in school.
