Students K-6 grade at St. Catherine's Parish in Westford have donated hundreds of their gently used toys to be sold to the public to raise money for the Miles for Matthew campaign, to fund a wheelchair van for a boy in the parish.

All toys, no matter how large, will be sold for 50¢ each.

Matthew, a member of the parish, has been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type I and must use a wheelchair.

Through the Miles for Matthew campaign, the family is raising $35,000 to purchase a van to accommodate his wheelchair.

Following the sale, any unsold toys will be donated to the Hope Chest, a children's thrift shop affiliated with the House of Hope family shelter in Lowell.
