'Thankfully', most stores are NOT open on Thanksgiving thanks to Massachusetts's 'blue laws,' which prohibits many major stores and department stores from opening that day.
Simon Malls in Massachusetts are among those opening at 12:01 a.m. on Black Friday, Nov. 23. (The stores themselves don't open until 12:30 a.m.)
Exceptions are The Shops at Chestnut Hill and Copley Place, which open at 8 a.m. Friday. You'll be able to shop at Simon Malls until 10 p.m. Friday, *except for*: the Burlington Mall, Copley Place, Solomon Pond Mall, South Shore Plaza, and The Shops at Chestnut Hill, which will close at 9.
Simon Malls in Massachusetts include the Burlington Mall, Cape Cod Mall, Copley Place, Emerald Square Mall, Northshore Mall, Solomon Pond Mall, South Shore Plaza, Square One Mall, The Shops at Chestnut Hill.
The CambridgeSide Galleria Mall also opens at midnight and remains open until 10 p.m.
