Play Wampanoag games, make your own cornhusk doll, get cozy around the fire in a wetu (house) for story time, and enjoy creative experiences that celebrate Wampanoag heritage and history.
At 2:15 p.m. gather for a performance by the Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers.
The Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers are musicians, educators, and artisans from the Mashpee, Aquinnah, and Herring Pond tribal communities who share eastern social songs and dances through performances and educational programs.
Dressed in traditional clothing and accompanied by water drum and handcrafted rattles, they emphasize community participation and prefer to dance with audiences rather than perform for them.
Activities are drop-in, so you may arrive for any portion of the events.
Please note that some activities will take place outdoors, so please dress for the weather.
