Join Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival for a 4 week survival skills program!

Each class meets 10am-1pm for 4 consecutive Wednesdays, learning new skills each week.

For homeschool students ages 6-14.

No prior experience necessary.

Beginners and advanced students welcome.

Students will learn the basics of survival in a fun and informative setting.

Class is 100% outside with bathroom facilities close-by.

We will also cover survival kits, navigation, survival psychology, and more!

SCHEDULE:

• April 22nd 10-1 Basic Wood Carving Safety/Skills
• April 29th 10-1 Shelter Building
• May 6th 10-1 Fire Building Skills/Safety
• May 13th 10-1 Animal Tracking and Survival Traps

WHAT TO BRING:

• Water
• Lunch/Snacks
• Dressed Appropriate for Weather
• OEWS BASIC OR COMPLETE kit, optional.
• Fire Starter
• Wood Carving Tool

Although we recommend students have their own survival gear, we also have materials to borrow for class.

Upon completion of this class, students will receive an OEWS logo patch and Alula Feather patch towards their Alula Certification.

We will cover a lot of skills and crafts in this class.

Sibling discount available.

This class is open to new students and experienced students alike.

The skills we cover in this class are beginner friendly, however, we are able to accomodate advanced students as well by giving them extra challenges.

Parent participation is not mandatory, but their attendance is.

This is not a 'drop-off' program.
