Time to light things up Somerville!

Illuminations is a month-long lights extravaganza in which you are able to take self-guided tours featuring the brightest holiday displays around Somerville.

By using our handy map, it will be easy to cruise around and see the best lights in town.

We’re not doing trolley tours for several reasons, namely the price of trolley rental has become very expensive -- forcing us to charge a lot for tickets.

We feel the way to make this event as inclusive as possible is to have it be free.

And back by popular demand: Caroling!

Caroling will be one night only.

Illuminations Timeline:
• Dec. 8 - January 2, 2023: Self-guided tours using the SAC’s official online Illuminations Map

• Dec. 15, 6-8pm: City-wide caroling! (rain date Dec 16)

• Dec. 17: Illuminations Bike Tour, meet-up 5:45 at Somerville High entrance, departure at 6pm (Rain date Dec 18)
