Looking for a not-so-spooky Halloween event for the family?

Wondering what, or who, makes all of those noises at night?

Join us at Rocky Woods for a nature craft, full moon hike, and s’mores around the campfire (weather permitting)!

As we learn about the creatures of the night, we will make a nature craft while the sun sets.

Next, we will take a fun walk around Chickering Pond (approximately ½ mile), guided by the light of the full moon.

As we walk, we will learn that the night noises aren’t that scary, they are just the Rocky Woods animals talking to each other!

When we arrive back at the cabin, the fire will be lit, and we will make s’mores and sip on apple cider.

Costumes safe for hiking and being near a campfire are encouraged!

Event is rain or shine.

This hike is appropriate for nature explorers ages 3 – 8 and their families.
