Description:

Boston After Dark is a citywide initiative offering free, safe, and fun Friday night events for teens aged 14–18 throughout the summer.

From June 27 to August 29, 2025, various Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF) and YMCA locations will host activities from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Each event features:

• Live DJ


• Free food


• Merchandise giveaways


• Activities such as basketball tournaments, paint nights, pool parties, movie nights, and more

This program is a collaborative effort by the Office of Youth Engagement and Advancement (OYEA), BCYF, YMCA of Greater Boston, and other city departments to promote youth summer safety by creating engaging spaces across Boston’s neighborhoods.
