Season of Making is a five-day, full-week art program running Monday, February 16 through Friday, February 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day, designed for students in Grades 1–6.
Throughout the week, young artists will explore creativity, imagination, and self-expression through immersive, hands-on artmaking.
Students will work across a wide range of materials and techniques, including drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, and pottery.
Each day features guided lessons led by the Museum’s professional teaching artists, followed by open studio exploration, creative games, and collaborative group activities.
As a multi-day program, Season of Making allows students to build skills progressively, revisit ideas, and gain confidence as they deepen their creative practice throughout the week.
Participants will leave with artwork they are proud to take home, strengthened artistic skills, new friendships, and meaningful creative experiences in a supportive, welcoming environment.
This is a full-day program.
Students are responsible for bringing their own nut-free lunch, snacks, and a reusable water bottle.
All art materials and supplies are provided.
This full-week program offers a structured, enriching alternative to traditional childcare while giving students the time and space to truly engage in the creative process during February Vacation.
