Please join us and Rixy on Saturday, June 27 from 3 PM-6 PM to celebrate the opening of the new Dewey Square mural, “The Midnight Ride,” which reflects on Boston’s undertold stories of the past 250 years while inviting a collective imagining of the city’s next 250 years.
This family-friendly afternoon event will feature food trucks, lawn games, music from DJ Sega Genn, a photo booth with Snapped Boston, and a Dominican Carnaval performance and costume display from Asociación Carnavalesca de Massachuessets.
Artists from Rixy’s team —Ayana Mack and Sagie Vangelina— will also join us! We can’t wait to celebrate with you all.
We’re very grateful for our project partners, Embrace Boston and Everyone250, our open call design partner Chen Luo of Body & Forma, and our Artist Selection Committee Panel: Ché Anderson, Jameson Johnson, Jasper Sanchez, Jeneé Osterheldt, Jha D Amazi, Kenny Mascary, Lisa Tung, L’Merchie Frazier, Tessa Haas, and Zhidong Zhang.
