Description: Follow the Drinking Gourd by Jeanette Winter will introduce preschoolers and their caregivers to the underground railroad.Held at the Jackson Homestead and Museum, which was actually a stop on the underground railroad as enslaved people made their way to freedom in the North, this program will be a gentle introduction to this period of American history.

Along with the story, children will also learn the Drinking Gourd song!
