Storytime!

At Home in the Homestead
Hosted in the Jackson Homestead & Museum, preschoolers and their caregivers will learn about what made the Homestead home to the Jackson family.

We will read Home by Carson Ellis, and preschoolers and their caregivers will have the chance to explore the museum and make their own paper bag house!

Historic Newton’s free, bi-weekly Storytime program engages kids 18 months to 6 years old by focusing on literacy, Newton's history, play, and lessons from our museums.
Families are welcome to bring snacks for their kids.

Includes free entrance to the museums after the program.
