Name: Storytime!

In the Garden Hosted at the Durant Kenrick House & Grounds, preschoolers and their caregivers will learn about how the Durant family used their garden.

We will read Up in the Garden & Under the Dirt by Kate Messner, and afterwards will have the chance to make their own spoon flowers and explore the grounds outside!
Historic Newton’s free, bi-weekly Storytime program engages kids 18 months to 6 years old by focusing on literacy, Newton's history, play, and lessons from our museums.Families are welcome to bring snacks for their kids.

Includes free entrance to the museums after the program.
