Bibim Together is back with a summer Bilingual Story Time and Cooking Adventure!

Join us for a joyful afternoon of storytelling and delicious treats.

We’ll be reading, in English and Korean, one of our favorite Korean picture books, Watermelon Swimming Pools (수박 수영장) by Hello Moon (안녕달).

This dreamy and imaginative story takes place on a sweltering summer day where the whole town comes together to create a swimming pool inside a giant juicy watermelon!

Children and grown ups all jump in and splash around, creating a whimsical world of cool, fruity fun.

It’s a celebration of summer, childhood, and the magic of imagination.

After story time, we’ll cool off by making our own 화채 (Hwa Chae), a popular Korean watermelon dessert with ingredients that include watermelon, sugar, sparkling water, and Yakult (a sweet, tangy probiotic yogurt drink).
