The Newburyport Waterfront Movie Series is a free annual community event that combines movie entertainment with outdoor relaxation.

What could be better than watching a movie outside on Waterfront Park on a warm summer night? Grab a blanket and your family & friends.

This year's line-up:
August 9: Finding Dory
August 16: Moana
August 23: Beauty and the Beast
August 30: RAIN DATE

Movies start at dusk (right around 8PM), but get there early to claim a spot on the lawn and enjoy some family favorite tunes while you wait for the show to start.

Movies will be shown on a 40-foot inflatable screen with an HD Blue Ray Projector and BOSE professional sound system. You don't want to miss this!

Visitors can gather in the grassy park with snacks, blankets, folding chairs and perhaps some bug spray. The movies will show on an inflatable screen after the sun goes down.

There are typically some vendors at the event, which runs until 10 p.m.
