Bring the family out for an afternoon of discovery and play!Sponsored as part of the DCR Summer Nights initiative, the Trustees' Mobile Adventures team is hosting a free weekly Nature Play & Learn educational series.
These interactive, hands-on outdoor experiences are specifically designed to help children and families connect with the natural world through guided creativity and exploration.
Each week features a brand-new unique theme focused on a special aspect of nature.
Participants can rotate through various interactive stations to investigate local area wildlife, engage in fun nature-based activities, make outdoor observations, and build lasting connections with the environment around them.
Our Theme weeks are:
• Week 1 (June 29 to July 3): Outdoor Exploring
• Week 2 (July 6 to July 10): Bugging Out
• Week 3 (July 13 to July 17): Plant Power
• Week 4 (July 20 to July 24): Backyard Birding
• Week 5 (June 27 to July 31): Animal Tracking
• Week 6 (August 3 to August 7): Coastal Adventures
• Week 7 (August 10 to August 14): Digging into Geology
• Week 8 (August 17 to August 21): Happy Camping
