The Family Nurturing Center of MA is a community based non-profit founded in 1994 with the goals of reducing child maltreatment and abuse and promoting healthy families and communities. FNC provides a variety of training and programming for families and providers in Boston and throughout MA.
Programs include Parenting Support and Education classes; Father's Programs; infant massage classes; a Welcome Baby newborn outreach program for families in Boston neighborhoods; trainings/workshops for child care, health care and social service providers; Allston/Brighton Family Network toddler playgroups and parent and baby groups.
The Family Nurturing Center is a private non-profit organization with funding through the MA Dept. of Education and other sources. Our Welcome Baby Program also provides one day community service opportunities for organizations, youth groups, faith based groups, girl scouts, etc. to assemble baskets for families.
