constitution beach photoConstitution Beach in Orient Heights, East Boston is open daily, dawn to dusk and is free.

A fun place to splash and swim, the beach area is staffed with lifeguards, a bathhouse with concessions, a large playground, and tennis courts.

Views of Boston Harbor and Logan Airport can be enjoyed while sitting under the sheltered benches. Visitors can also enjoy the nearby playground, baseball field and tennis, basketball and handball courts. The large open field (frisbee!) features lots of trees and shrubs providing shady spots for picnics.

You can get here by taking the blue line to the Orient Heights stop or take the MBTA bus, which stops at the Bennington Street entrance of Constitution Beach.
