Grist Mill at Wayside Inn

The Wayside Inn Grist Mill opened on Thanksgiving Day, 1929 and was built under the direction of former Wayside Inn owner and automobile maker Henry Ford.

Open April through October, Wednesday through Sunday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Staffed by a trained interpreter, with grinding demonstrations on weekends. Call ahead advised.

The Grist Mill is a terrific photo op, where many choose to take family photos and wedding photos. The picturesque grounds are lovely to walk around any time of year. Other notable landmarks include Mary Martha Chapel, and Longfellow's Wayside Inn & Tavern.
