Maine

FROM SOUTH: (Massachusetts or New Hampshire mostly) Take 95 North over the big bridge into Maine. From there you should get off at Exit #7, which says York's and Ogunquit. It is also the last exit before the Maine Turnpike. Then you will want to get onto Route 1 North which is a left at the lights. We are about two miles up on the right. We have a 40-foot sign.

FROM NORTH: (Maine) Take the Maine Turnpike, 95 south, all the way to the last exit on the turnpike, the York exit #7. It is right after the toll booth at the end. After you get off the exit, get onto Route 1 North which is a left at the lights. We are about two miles up on the right. We have a 40-foot sign.

5-starYork's Wild Animal Kingdom - Hidden Gem
We took our 3 year old and 2 year old twins to this zoo and amusement park last year ...twice! It was a great day. The zoo is one of the best in the Boston area. I consider this close enough to Boston to say that. We live in Revere (minutes from Boston) and got there in 50 minutes! The amusement park alone is NOT reason to go but being next to the zoo it completes the day. BE SURE NOT TO MISS THE ADORABLE SQUARE right behind the amusement park. It has seafood restaurants, a candy shop, ice cream parlors, gift shops and it's an adorable clean little square. Just passed that there is a BEAUTIFUL BEACH with a boardwalk feel. I am determined to stay there for a weekend to make the most of everything. For now we're headed back with a now 4 year old and 3 year old twins. We'll make this an annual tradition for our family for sure! A+
