The best way to have a summer to remember is to build it yourself.
At Mazemakers, participants spend time doing the things that excite them most: programming a flight of musical stairs in the Makers lab, writing and performing an original play in drama, or playing a round of Capture the Flag.
In choosing from fifteen different course options (ranging from the artistic to the athletic to the technological), participants open endless possibilities and create the summer that fits them best.
Located on the Meadowbrook School campus in Weston, Mazemakers is a small, dynamic learning community of young people entering grades two through eight. In contrast to traditional summer programs, at Mazemakers we emphasize creativity, choice, challenge, and community.
Whatever choices participants make, some things are constant: The size (about 80 campers per session) is just right for building relationships, staff members (primarily educators and college students) return each year, courses reflect the passion, knowledge, and skills of their participants, and together, we build a flourishing community of respect, intellectual vitality, and imagination.
Facilities are conveniently located (just off 128 and 90) and feature computer and science labs, a dance studio, a performance auditorium, playing fields, tennis courts, and an outdoor swimming pool.
