It’s Just So Good To Be Outside! PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Exploration weekly Summer day camp allows children to explore and learn about the natural world.
Guided by experienced teacher-naturalists, campers will get the opportunity to discover exciting nature-based topics through hands-on exploration and STEM-based activities. Join us as we discover habitats along the forest floor, explore pollinators in meadows, and investigate aquatic life in local streams and ponds!
PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Exploration offers Summer Camps in Newton, Wellesley, & Needham for children ages 4-8 or 4-7 (depending on the location). These camps are from 9:00 am - 1:30 pm, with early drop off (8:20 am -9:00 am) and extended day (1:30pm -3:30pm) available.
Following a weekly theme, each day children and educators investigate a different topic in nature. Our experienced teacher naturalists guide children in nature discovery and play through hands-on exploration, STEM-based experiments, active movement, outdoor play, crafts, games, stories and songs.
Some weekly themes that PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Exploration campers will explore this summer include:
Groovy Garden: Discover bees, butterflies & more!
Head, Shoulders, Knees & Tail: Uncover the secrets of animal adaptations and explore the wonders of various animal skeletons.
Down in the Dirt: Discover tiny critters that call soil their home
Midnight Mayhem: Meet the sneaky, creepy, and cool creatures for the night!
Signs of Summer: Investigate butterflies, fireflies and many more signs that summer has begun!
Mighty Mammals: Explore the fiercest mammals in the northeast!
Show, Tell, and Touch: Your favorite PUDDLESTOMPERS taxidermy will be making a showstopping appearance this week.
