The Rivers School Conservatory is dedicated to offering premier classical and jazz music education and performance programs that develop the highest levels of artistic and technical achievement. Over the past three and a half decades, the Conservatory has grown to over 750 students, including musicians of all ages.
Programs include a dynamic student orchestra program, jazz and chamber ensembles, music theory and composition, a critically acclaimed Marimba Magic Program, Music Box, Suzuki, choruses, master classes, workshops, and, of course, private lessons on every orchestral and jazz instrument, piano and voice.
Programs for Beginning Musicians
Marimba MagicŪ
A creative introduction to music using percussion and keyboard instruments for ages 5-8.
Music Box
Private and group lessons for beginning students of piano, violin, viola and cello (ages 4-7)
Suzuki Violin
Private and group lessons with parent involvement
Private Lessons
Lessons are offered for jazz and classical students of all ages. The RSC lesson program includes workshops and recitals.
Chamber Ensembles
A small group experience for intermediate and advanced musicians of all
instruments.
Jazz Ensembles
Includes combos for intermediate jazz instruments.
Capriccio Chorus
Small choir for treble voices, ages 10-14
